Arrival to Corfu
Airplane
Flying is the most convenient and fastest way to travel to Corfu. From May to October there are numerous charter flights from United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other europpean countries flying to Corfu Airport (CFU: Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport ). The flight time e.g. from London to Corfu is about 3 Hours and 15 minutes, Munich to Corfu is about 2 hours, from Berlin about 2h 30m. From the airport you can reach the city center in about 10 minutes by car. The distance from Corfu Airport to Corfu Town is only 3.5 km.
Car Ferry
Numerous car ferries connect Venice, Ancona, Bari and Brindisi in Italy with Corfu. The city center is only 2.5 km away from Corfu port. From Venice (e.g. Munich-Venice approx. 5 hours by car) you drive at least 21 hours on the ferry to Corfu. It takes about 8 hours to drive from Munich to Ancona, the ferry from Ancona to Corfu takes at least 17 hours. The duration of the crossing can vary depending on the season.
